As my mom grabs her books for school, she starts hearing that all of her classes are getting canceled.
Oh no, what's going on?!
You should drive over here. Maybe we can turn on the news and figure out what's going on.
As she walks downstairs, she's on the phone with her friend, asking her to come over.
WHAT?! The Twin Towers have just been hijacked?
This is insane, scary, and confusing. I don't even understand.
Of course.
Do you think I could stay the night? I think it would make both of us feel more safe.
It's getting kind of late so we should probably go to bed, but I'm glad we were there for each other today.
Me too, it was extremely scary watching the Today Show and seeing the second plane crash into the second tower.
I think we grew from that experience, regards to how sad it was.
