- The Poll tax was enforced by King Richard the ll. the year was 1381 May 31st
- everyone from peasants to Barrons must pay the same tax of 12 pence
- The young king has upset his people and is trying to reason with them to spare his life.
- Kill this fraud!
- What do you want from me? I'll do anything!
- King Richard makes some bold promises in an attempt to calm the mob and it works well. But will he keep those promises?
- Every man below the king should be equal!
- Of course! Anything for my people
- Haha! How stupid were they to think that I'd even the tax.
- How could he lie to us!/?
- At least taxes will never be so high again!
- Over the next 50 years the royals started to question their power and peasants started to get closer to justice but were still a long way off.
- Are we being unfair?
