- The settings of the story was in a small ranch in Soledad California (pg.1). George is the protagonist in the story because he try's his best to keep Lennie safe (pg.4). Curley is the antagonist because he try's to stop George from taking care of Lennie. Characters that was introduced in chapter 2 was Candy and Slim. Candy always had a lonely look (pg.45). Slim was a character that is very tough and has of confidence (pg.42).
- Throughout chapter 1 and 2 the conflict of the story was more of a person vs. person type of conflict. The best conflict would be person vs. person because Curley was trying to attack Lennie was so called " acting dumb". Curley tried his best to pick afight with Lennie but Lennie doesn't want to.
- The narration point of view of the story Mice and Men 3rd person omniscient because as reading you would notice that the narrator only knows the thoughts and feelings of every character in the book. On page 6, it states the inner thoughts of Lennie, " Lennie looked startled and in embarrassment hid his face against his knees". The narrator just explained how Lennie was feeling at the time.
