The Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn are imaginary lines that are 23.5 degrees north and south of the equator. They show the farthest places where the sun can shine directly overhead during certain times of the year. Areas near the equator between these two tropics have two wet and dry seasons unlike the four seasons that happen further north or south.
I heard about the tropics of Capricorn and cancer, what is that?

what about Earths tilt? is it always standing straight
woah!
the angle of sunlight is important for seasons too because when the sunlight hits at a direct angle, it causes that location to have warm temperatures. meanwhile sunlight at a less angle would cause the energy to spread across a larger area, causing cooler temperatures. This is why regions closer to the equator experience warmer weather compared to poles.

Is Earths tilt important too?
The tilt of the Earth's axis is important because it causes different parts of the Earth to get more or less sunlight throughout the year. This tilt is what creates the seasons, like summer and winter, as the Earth orbits the sun. Without the tilt, every place on Earth would have the same weather all year long.
