- Charlies teacher Ms.kenion was informed that charlie could have his IQ raised at a high rate if he got a surgery that hasn't been done on humans yet, but done on mice, a specific one called Algernon he also takes maze test to try and beat algeroon

- charlie agrees to do the surgery to get a higher IQ and he takes the spot test before and he goes in for the surgery, he is very happy and excited
- favorite scene
- charlies surgery went well and his IQ level started to rise at an extreme rate and he started to develop a lot of emotions and he fell in love with his teacher and he starts to realize what the after affects of the surgery is and he knows that his IQ level will go back down and he will eventually die
- charlie catches the bus back to new york after telling the media the truth about the experiment and how the experment kills . he leaves Ms. Kennion behind to not hurt her feelings because he wont remember her
- my favorite scene is when charlie and Ms. Kennion are at the park on a date, i loved how charlie could feel his emotions for her and they just had an amazing time together, my overall favorite
