- This introduces both sides of the roman struggle.
- The Plebeians Leave the City.
- This is so unfair, we're leaving the city!
- The patricians had to still live under a king who often lived however he pleased causing the Romans to overthrow him.
- Plebeians gets rights in the government.
- We will allow you to elect 10 officials, and give you the right to veto.
- WE WANT ONE OF THE CONSULS TO BE PLEBEIANS!
- A conflict between the Patricians and the Plebeians because the Plebeians wanted more say in the government.
- The Twelve Tables
- All laws shall now be written on wooden tablets!
- Since the Plebeians had to pay most of the taxes and they got little to no respect by the Patricians. The Plebeians decided to leave the city.
- The Patricians soon realized that their city cannot function without the Plebeians so they allowed the Plebeians to elect 10 officlas for the Tribune of the Plebs and they also allowed them to veto. However, the Plebeians demanded one of the consuls to be Plebe.
- Since the Patricians can change laws at any time without them being written, they demanded that there be laws written down.
