- All of a sudden, a little man came in the room. He claimed he could spin straw out of gold and will do it for her but get something in return. The miller's daughter didn't have any choice and gave him the necklace she had on her.. The little man spined the straw into gold until the morning. The Kin came in the morning and was impressed.

- The ring on my finger.
- What will you give me if I spin it for you?
- The King took the miller's daughter into a bigger room and was much more filled with straws. The KIng demanded she spins the straw into gold all in one night. Once again, the little man appeared in the room willing to spin the straw into gold for something in return. The miller's daughter offered him the ring on her finger. The little spin the wheel three times and continued for the hole night.

- In the morning, the King rejoiced beyond measure at the sight. Again, he took her to a much larger room and filled with straw. This time if she accomplish it, she will be his wife. For the third time, the little man asked the same but this time the miller's daughter didn't have anything to offer. The little man suggested the miller's daughter make a promise to him that when she has her first child, she will give him after she became a queen. The miller's daughter hesitated but had no choice and promised him
