- This is when the three witches tell Macbeth his fate of being the king. Shakespeare uses foreshadowing when delivering the quote.
- Act 3 Scene 4 line 20:Fate vs freewill
- This was another example of fate and is when Ross tells Macbeth he is the thane of cawdor. Macbeth thinks it was the witches but it was actually already discussed to the reader. This is a drama convention.

- Macbeth! Macbeth! Macbeth! Beware Macduff!
- This was another example of fate and it is speculated that the witches where the ones that put the vision in macbeth's mind almost as a sign that he should do it. This is a form of symbolism.

- This is another sign of fate because the witches said that banquo would father of kings and banquo's son somehow escapes. This drives MAcbeth mad and is a example of foreshadowing.
- There's but one done;the son is fled.
- This is when Macbeth is told of the helmet that foreshadows his death but macbeth does not know this. This is a sign of fate.
