Food choices could be the make or break of a person's life. It dictates what food that person is willing to eat on a daily basis. Choosing healthy food before bad habits set in is very important if you want a long happy life. Over eating, for example will most likely lead to obesity which will then lead to heart, sleep, and breathing problems. In general, you should be eating food with 10-35% proteins, 45-65% carbohydrates, and 20-35% fat of your total caloric intake.
Crossing the bridge of good health habits might be hard for some people, but once you have crossed it, it's easy sailing from there! The younger you are, the better.

Fad DietsAnother bad influence floating around through society would be fad diets, advertised as diets that cut weight without the user having to exercise. But in reality, the only thing these diets do is degrade health and make you depressed while doing so, this is mainly because many of these diets cut off major sources of calories
Unfortunately the sad fact about society, especially in the US where obesity is at a all time high is that fast food like it's name suggests is fast and convenient, a little to convenient. The ease at which it is to order unhealthy food is the reason why America has such a large epidemic of fat people. Some of the worst offenders are high sugar cereal, soda, high sodium snacks and products filled to the brim with artificial food coloring and preservatives.
Some well known fad diets include but not limited too, Atkin, Paleo, Tapeworm, HCG, Alkaline, and Grapefruit diets.
