Hey, Frank do you ever wonder how cells were discovered?
It said that when he looked at a cork under the microscope he saw the cells.
In 1665 he published a book called 'Micrographia'.It's a book about microorganisms and the pictures were handrawn by himself!
He called what he saw 'cellulae' because it reminded him of the rooms monks used at the time
Well it says here Robert Hooke first discovered the cell.
What? Well, anyways after the book was published this guy went to make his own microscope to see cells himself.

His name is Antonie Van Luewenhoek. He's a Dutch naturalist.
