- One day, Tyrone was playing basketball and invited his brother to play. He went up and tried to calculate the Tangent. The angle from him and the hoop was about 68 degrees, and the distance was about 15ft. Jayon was ready to shoot but was not really confident. He didn't know the height which caused problems.

- Jayon did the math in his head and got 37 inches. He can now shoot and hopefully make it.

- Jayon makes it hitting the backboard, but the ball bounced out the court and onto a tree. Tyrone gets mad and tells Jayon to go and get it. Jayon angrily runs out of the court and goes towards the tree.
- Jayon hurries to the tree and starts calculating. He knows that the angle from the tree is 40 degrees. He also knows the height, which is 7 ft above him, between him and the ball but needs to figure out what the hypotenus is. Jayon will be using sine to figure it out. After some time, Jayon figuress out that x is 5.2ft.

- Jayon finally hit the ball with the rock and knocked it out on the first try. The ball bounced and jayon caught it. He was so happy, he started sprinting back to his brother.
- Jayon rushed back and Tyrone was really proud of him. He asked him to try again and this time not to mess it up that bad. Jayon gets ready and starts calculating the cosine. He knew that the angle was 71 degrees, and that the adjacent was 12. All he needed was the hypotenus. Jayon finally finished his calculations and got a result of 3.9ft.

- Jayon shoots the ball and its start to go around the rim forever. Suddenly, the ball goes in and Tyrone starts jumping happily. Jayon was so proud of himself with the calculations. He is now inetersted in basketball and wants to work harder playing basketball. Finally, the 2 brothers continued playing until they were knocked out.
