- I ascended the throne after my father descended the throne. Now I am the ruler of the gujara - Pratihara .Now I am called as Nagabhata 2.I captured kannauj ,the imperial city of Harsha and i made it as my capital
- I ascended the throne after my grandfather descended the throne .Now i am the ruler of Gurjara - pratihara. I am called as Bhoja 1. I am a powerful ruler under me the territory of gurjara - pratihara stretched from the foothills of the himalayas to the river Narmada and from bengal to sind .
- 836 CE - 886 CE
- The gurjara pratihara brokeup into several independent kingdoms around 950 CE. Around 1019 CE ,Mahmud of ghazni took control of kannauj . This spelt the end of the pratihara dynasty and by the way i am the narrator.
- In Bengal , a period of confusion seems to have prevailed after the death of harsha . IN 750 CE the people elected one gopala as their ruler . Dharmapala founded the pala dynasty ( 775 CE - 810 CE ) Under Dharmapala and his son ,Devapala , the pala kingdom grew to include present - day Bengal ,Bihar and parts of odisha.One of the later pala kings ,Mahipala , was defeated by the Chola king rajendra chola in 1023 CE.
