My relationship with god is going to be strengthened through this covenant.
When God called Abraham to move to Canaan... The covent between Abraham and God was formed. God was going to make Abraham the father of many nations and give protection to his chosen people. Abraham's part was to build altars and circumcision of all males at 8 days old.

We really want to try this fruit even though God told us not to.
In the Garden of Eden.... Adam and Eve were living a perfect life extremely close to God. Until, they disobeyed God by eating the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. They then received the consequence of being banished from the garden. Ultimately, they closed the gates of heaven.

We've all been in this desert for 40 years why can't we settle?!!?
The Israelites in the desert.. In the book of Numbers, it describes the Israelite's failed attempts to settle in the 40 years. God promised them Canaan and even though it took a while God always keeps his promises. This shows the importance of patience and trust in God's path for all of us.
