  • The Proclamation Line was put in place when the Natives attacked the colonies , even after the French and Indian War. It was set in place so the colonists would no longer move to the Ohio River Vally
  • I'm sorry to inform you all, but we have now put in place the Proclamation Line. You will no longer be able to move in the western direction.
  • Is this a trick? I don't want your cheep tea! How am I supposed to make money
  • The Tea Act puts in place that only the British East India Company can sell tea and not get taxed. The colonists believed they were trying to sneak a tax with cheep tea.
  • Sell clothes? Not that you could make money with those clothes...
  • Due to recent events, we have now enlisted the Tea Act. The British East India Company is the only industry that can sell tea, no longer the colonists.
  • (Giggles)
  • How come we have to pay for government stamps? This is just another way for you all to take money away from us! How are we supposed to support our business with no money?
  • The Stamp Act was an act that said colonists had to BUY a GOVERNMENT STAMP for almost all paper documents. They were told it was to pay for troops to defend Britain. They repealed the Stamp Act due to resistance from colonists.
  • I know ma'm, but it's what the government says...
  • NOOOOO! Not my husband...we have a son!
  • What's going on?!?!?!
  • Protests only grew the tension between the colonists and British troops over taxs acts. Until March 5, 1770, when colonists began insulting the troops and hitting them. People believe then a British soldier was struck by someone and that caused them to fire.
  • HAHAHA! Wait till the troops get a load of this! We dumped all their tea!
  • The Boston Tea Party is the reaction to the Tea Act by the colonists. They dressed as American Indians as a disguised and dumped hundreds of chests of tea in the ocean. This happened all around the colonies.
  • Go get more crates. We need as much as possible.
  • These colonists are out of control! We need the Coercive Acts! No ports will be open, no more town meetings, and troops are now required to be housed in empty buildings.
  • The Coercive Act(or Intolerable Act) was set in place as a punishment to the colonists because of the Tea Party. It closed all ports, banned town meetings, and forced colonists to house British troops in empty buildings.
