But when you say, 'I’m teaching my 4th graders about plant cycles (Content), and I want them to collaborate in pairs (Pedagogy), so I’m going to have them film a time-lapse of their seeds growing using a tablet (Technology),' you’ve hit the TPACK sweet spot. It’s about the tools serving the lesson, not the other way around.

By the time you get to Redefinition, those 4th graders aren't just consumers; they're creators. They’re doing things that literally couldn't happen in a classroom thirty years ago.

When we bring tech into the classroom, we ask: 'Is this helping them Collaborate on a project? Is it sparking their Creativity through digital art?' We want them to be more than just good test-takers; we want them to be thinkers.
