The author then reveals that Ben has been the one behind all of this since the beginning. Ben supposedly died of poisoning in his food early on, but he just faked his death. And he then stayed in his room until now. At gunpoint, Ben takes Meg to his boat with the intent of burning it with her.
Just as Ben lights the boat on fire, T.J, who was just shot a couple of moments ago, suddenly tackles Ben into a wall of fire. T.J and Meg narrowly escape the boat before it sinks.

They start the party by drinking a lot of alcohol. And by this part, everybody is settling into the party. But a couple of moments later, disaster strikes.
One of the characters named Ben, who is allergic to peanuts, had peanuts in his salad for some reason. Due to him not bringing his EpiPen on the island. Ben supposedly dies due to an allergic reaction.
The group of friends suddenly finds a VHS tape and are curious about what it is. They begin to watch the VHS tape on the TV and are confused. The tape shows a countdown from numbers 10 to 0. After it reaches 0; it begins to show cryptic messages about revenge and pain.
