- No one hired me.
- Call the workers and pay their wages from last to first
- The landowner called his foreman and and made him collect the men

- The workers who were hired at 5pm each received a denarius. Then men hired first expected to get paid more. But each worker only received 1 denarius. When they received it they began to complain
- They have worked less then us and have been paid the same amount
- Remember you agreed to work for one denarius now take your money and go
- The landowner smiled and shook his head
