We are in the Tropical Rainforest located in the warm and humid and near the Earth's equator. Rich plant life and plentiful water allows thousands of different animals, fish, and insects live here. Today the rainforest continue to be destroyed but now the cause is logging. This destruction of the rainforest is called deforestation.

We are in the Savanna located near the equator. when summer rains come the Savanna is green and the grass in thick. During the winter dry season the grass turns brown, and the grass fires occur. Expanding farmlands means less land for the animals. as roads houses and cities are built through the Savanna wilderness, natural animal habitats disappear.

We are in the Sahara located in the Northern part of Africa. It covers over 3.6 million square miles and very few people live here. Despite the harsh arid conditions of the desert, several plants and animals call the region home.
