- Rising action:Shenice leads her softball team, which overwhelms her as she has so many other things to get done and care for. She visits uncle Jack, who tells her about Jonah Lockwood's past. Shenice then starts digging in and investigating more about the truth.

- Climax:Shenice finds out key evidence, leading her to believe Jonah was falsely accused. She then takes a moment to think about whether to focus on continuing to pursue her dream in softball or to fight for Jonah Lockwood's justice. Then she realizes both of them is part of who she is and decides to do both.

- Falling action/Resolution:Shenice confesses and tells everyone about her discoveries. She reconnects with her family, who now understand her better. She works hard on and off the field.
