My parents are immigrants from Mexico. My parents came to the U.S. to give my family more opportunities and a brighter future.
My parents were able to work really hard doing whatever they could to get us a house to grow up and make memories in.
Because of my parent's hard work I get to go to a school where I am offered many educational opportunities and have access to many career paths.
My parents get stared at and get called "Aliens" or "go back to your country" and it makes me really upset because my parents don't hurt anyone while living here.
My parents fear that one day ICE will come to our home and separate us and take away everything they have worked so hard to have.
My parents left family and friends so my siblings and me could have a better economic environment. And I'm very thankful for that and proud of my hard working parents.
