  • Liuku: 1
  • Arthur Radley is the youngest Radley member, and he once was a polite boy whose childhood...wasn't the best. His father was religious he didn't even enjoy life, and he presumably abused poor Arthur.
  • Liuku: 2
  • In his teens, Arthur was involved in a gang of teens, and eventually, after crashing a small car, they all went to trial. While the others were forced to go to industry school, Arthur's father thought it was too embarrasing for his son to attend such school, so he kept him locked up in his childhood house for over 15 years.
  • Liuku: 3
  • Arthur wasn't able to leave his home, and his older brother Nathan always took care of him. Eventually, Arthur got out of his house, just to stab his father on the leg with a pair of scissors. That was the only time he ever got out in 15 years. During this whole time, little is known about why he stayed at home, but it was presumably racism and prejudism. Also, people in Maycomb started to call him Boo Radley, believing he was a monster, and converted him into a victim of terrifying rumors, that, unbeknownst to them, was false.
