For in seven days I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights. I have seen that you alone are righteous before me in this generation.
I will do all that the Lord commands
The people on earth were sinful and did not love God anymore.
God spoke to Noah and told him that there was going to be a flood. He told him to build an ark and put his family and two of each animal on it for he was the only righteous man.
Noah did what God asked and took two of each living animal and all of the food needed
It started to rain and flood and the people were scared and confused so they tried to find shelter.
It rained for forty day and forty nights.
Noah let out a dove and it brought back an olive branch. Noah new that this meant there was dry land nearby. He rejoiced.
