- Life on the sea is hard weve been sailing for two years now. We are being sent to the americas in search of gold other valuable resources and land. Anyway, a mutany has supposedly started by john smith. But if you ask me john smith knows what he is doing, he's annoying the nobels and that might get him in trouble. For now to solve the problem hes been put in shackles until we arrive.
- Alas weve landed on the americas the trip was long and difficult but we made it. Now our job is to make camp and find that gold. (Weeks later), After alot of failur to find gold john smith and few members of the crew have come to the resolution that there is no gold. But some people including the noble still are looking for the gold. The gold may have been a bust but we still have plently of oppertunities to find riches.
- In seach of gold and supplies, some of our settlers were attacked by the Native americans. The attack was brutal our guns stood no chance at fighting the quick lethal bows. About ten of our men died in the brutal attack. You maybe thinking why didnt you win the battel with you better weapons? and thats because they practiced gorrila warfare and sneak attacks while we were un armed. Yet when the rest of our settlers came with guns it was to late and the natives got scared off.
- Through our stay at this hellish landscape we went through many hardships. LIke, disease which killed many of our people in horrible painfull ways. Or because of famine and starvation which killed most of our people. We had to bury them inside the fort in fear that the Natives would attack during the burial. But we were afraid the Natives were catching on that we were growing weaker. So as a sign of power we buried our captain outside and shot out to show our power.
- In desperate atempts of survival and making headway the one I consider our leader John Smith needed a way to save the colony. So he came up with going to the Natives unarmed to try and trade. To most of us this looked like a suicide misson but we knew it was the only option. So he went to the Natives camp and traded gems for food. The one who acted as an emissary pocahontas the doughter of cheif of the Powhatan people. She helped with trade and peace relations between the peoples.
- It would seem that things are going good right now but the settlers are still desperate. And between the times 1609 - 1610 the Natives stoped providing food and this will be called the starving time. But they endured enough time to have new settlers come and add to their numbers. At this same time a man named John Rolfe appeared to discover a new crop that would save us all. And this crop is tobacco, we started cultivating it and selling it for a lot. This made us be able to buy food and other goods, after a while and new wave of colinist came and we expanded.
