- Perseus's ordinary world was the island of Seriphus, where Dicty's found the two. After Dicty's discovering the two, he placed them in his humble hut. And this is where Perseus grew to be a strong man.

- After faking a marriage, Polydectes got nothing from Perseus, as he was poor. Polydectes expected something in return, and Perseus was willing to kill Medusa in return. This was all in his plan, as Polydectes thought that, if Perseus was gone, he can marry Danae.
- Helpers/allies
- Without knowing where to start, Perseus aimlessly walked in circles. He didn't know where to start, he didn't know where to look. In his confusion he asked the great goddess Athena and Hermes.
- Road to Trials 1
- While praying to the goddess Athena, she told him to use the shield as a reflection, as Medusa will turn him to stone. She gave him a knapsack to put Medusa's head in, and a shield. She also asked Hermes to give him a sickle, as a normal sword can't hurt Medusa.
- Perseus met the gray ones, and took their only tooth and eyeball. He made a deal to them, that they will give information, i exchange for the tooth and eyeball. They told him to go to the ocean nymphs, and he fled before they could use the eye.
- Perseus did what the grey ones told him to do, and he met the ocean nymphs. The ocean nymphs hated Medusa, and were friends with the gods, so getting help was easy. The ocean nymphs gave Perseus golden sandals Hermes wears, and the hat of darkness, which makes Perseus invisible.
