Hi! Today I’m going to show you the universe and its characteristics
There are million and millions of stars in our galaxy. You wouldn’t believe it but our galaxy is 100,000 light years long
A light year is 9.7 trillion km
A star is a ball of gas…
The sun is a star, not a planet…
There are 3 types of galaxies, spiral, elliptical and irregular
There are 8 planets in our solar system. They all orbit the sun.
That’s true!
The moon always seems like it’s glowing isn’t it? But the moon doesn’t produce its own light, it only reflects sunlight.
The largest planet in our solar system is Jupiter. It’s so large that 1,321 earths could fit inside Jupiter.
The first 4 planets in the solar system are called inner planets. The last 4 are called outer planets. The inner planets are usually solid and made of rock. The outer planets are usually made of gas.
