- Maple Street is the setting of the story, Monsters are Duo on Maple Street. This is the place where the comet is seen by the people of Maple Street. It is also the place where everything is goes south.
- Climax
- The conflict in the story takes place when the meteor is seen by the people of Maple Street. This is the time when people start to notice that their belongings are not working anymore. These include radios, cars, television, etc.
- Falling Action
- CHARLIE IS THE CAUSE!
- NO, TOMMY IS!
- This is the part of the story when people notice that Les Goodman's car started to work and turn on by itself. This leads to people starting to get angry at him. This also leads to people starting to accuse him of being the reason why nothings working.
- Resolution
- Understand the procedure now? Just stop a few of their machines and radios... Throw them into darkness for a few hours and then you just sit back and watch the pattern.
- This is the part of the story when Charlie shoots Pete Van Horn. This also the moment when people start to stop accusing Les Goodman and start to accuse Charlie. Charlie starts to defend himself by saying that he was trying to protect his home.
