- When the day of Pentecost had come, they all gathered together in one place.

- Suddenly from heaven, there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind. and it filled the entire house. Divided tongues of fire appeared among them and rested on each of them.

- A crowd gathered and was bewildered, because they heard them speaking in different language.

- They were amazed and astonished that they could understand each of them in their native language.
