Kuvakäsikirjoitus Teksti

  • But the boy stayed away for a long time. And when he came back, the tree was so happy she could hardly speak. She whispered to the boy to have fun. But the boy said that he was too sad to play and that he wanted a boat so that he could sail away. He asked the tree for a boat.
  • by Shel Silverstein
  • Once there was a tree...she loved a little boy. And everyday the boy would come and have fun. The boy loved the tree...very much
  • The Giving Tree
  • Would you like an apple, boy?
  • I would like an apple.
  • I will finally have something to make me happy!
  • But time went by...and the boy grew older. And the tree was often alone. Then one day the boy came to the tree and the tree said to climb on her truck and to have fun.
  • The boy said that he was too big to climb and have fun. Then the boy said he wanted money. He asked the tree for money but the tree only had apples and leaves so then the tree said to sell her apples and then the boy would be happy.
  • Just take my apples and sell them. Then you will be happy.
  • The boy stayed away for a long time...and the tree was sad. Then one day the boy came back and the tree shook with joy. Then she said to the boy to have fun with her. But the boy said that he was too old to play and that he wanted a house and a family.
  • I will finally have a home and family.
  • Cut off my branches and then you will be happy.
  • He asked the tree but the tree only said that she had branches so she said to the boy to cut off her branches and then he would have a home and a family and then he would be happy. And so the boy cut off her branches and carried them away to make his home.
  • I can finally sail away.
  • But the tree said that she didn't have a boat but she told the tree to cut down her trunk and then he would sail away happily. And so the boy cut down her trunk and went away to make his boat. Only this time she was happy but not that much.
  • Cut down my trunk and then you will be happy, Boy.
  • After a long time the boy came back again. Only this time he was much older. The tree then said that she was sorry and that she didn't have nothing to give to the boy not even apples. But then the boy said that he didn't want apples and that he didn't want to swing on her branches. He only wanted a place to rest and to sit down. And so that is what the tree gave him.
  • I only want to sit down and rest.
  • I guess an old stump is a good place to rest. Come sit down, Boy, come sit down.
  • At last the tree finally got what she wanted. She finally got the boy to finally be happy and she was finally happy.
  • The End.
  • Thank you for everything tree.
