The fairy talr

The Servant boy grieves his poor fortune
His prominent family was destroyed and scattered by the rival family
Now he works in the house of the family that destroyed his, only finding refuge in writing
One of the family members is a young, bratty, yet charismatic Prince
He admires Cinderella and writes about her but never builds the courage to talk to her
His remaining family has built great fortune in a foreign land
He finally builds up the courage to talk to Cinderella but she shows up to the Prince's ball in a brand new dress and shoes. She runs out at midnight before he can give her the poems he wrote for her
He goes to Cinderellas house the next day but the Prince has already proposed, and she accepted
The servant ran away and found his family, becoming rich
He returned years later old and alone to find Cinderella happily married to the Prince
