Area is the amount of space inside of something.
But, my room is so big! How can we possibly find the area!?
That's easy! We just have to measure the length times the width of your room! Or, LxW = Area

Now what?
We have to measure two sides of your room. The length, and then the width.
So if the length of my room was 10 feet, and the width was 15 feet, we just multiply right?
Right! Your room is 150 square feet! Now when you find a bed make sure you find one with a smaller area.
