- The Myth of Demeter and Persephone By: Kendra Jackson
- CRACK!!
- Persephone is playing alone in a beautiful flower field.
- The ground cracks open and Hades comes out in a chariot. Hades captured Persephone and forced her to be his wife.
- POP
- CRACKLE
- Persephone is gone for months, Demeter starts to get sad and forgets to grow things.
- Demeter tells Zeus about how Persephone is missing and she believes that Hades has captured her.
- While Persephone is in the underworld she eats a few pomegranate seeds. For each seed she eats that how many months she has to go back to the underworld with Hades.
- Persephone is with her mother and it is almost time for her to go back to the underworld. For that reason Demeter is starting to become sad.
