- I lived with a bratty girl, Yeh-Shen, whodid all the chores, and was still ungrateful about me and her stepsister. But, I didn't know she had a secret friend until now.
- My stepmother hates me !! HATES ME!!!!
- The festival in which the king finds hisbride was a few weeks away. The girl wasworking and working, and she never came up for dinner! I wonder how she survives like that!
- YEH-SHEN! MAKE US DRESSES FOR THE FESTIVAL!

- I was outraged she would keep a secret from me, so I devised a plan. I told Yeh-Shen to collect firewood and told her to leave her coat. I got the coat by the shore and killed that fish and ate it for dinner.
