- Great Britain put a blockade on American Trade to weaken the U.S.
- British Soldiers captured American boat captains to work for the British Navy.
- The British burned down the white house. The first lady managed to save a giant portrait of George Washington.
- After signing the peace treaty, America experiences the greatest victory for them in the war of 1812, and Andrew Jackson is labeled as the hero of this victory.
- The war of 1812 has ended!!!!
