- Nerissa and Portia enter again with their newborn babies
- And meet my new daughter, Annalisa!

- Here, this is all the ducats I have.
- In her room, Nerissa is not happy about her loss. She thinks that it was unfair and she is furious towards Gratiano and herself
- Bassanio.... Hmm. WAIT! I know what I have to do to regain my money!
- Now what will I do? I have a child with no money, I HAVE to find a way to getmy money back from Portia and Bassanio.
- Nerissa gets out a piece of paper and starts writting a letter
- My dear friend Antonio, I hope you are doing well and I hope all of your ships full of you ducats have arrived at their destination. I am not sure if you have heard the news, but I am a new mother. Bassanio and I would like to see you and present to you our beautifull so, William. It would be a pleasure if you could meet me, the 20th of this month at the Marina of venice, around noon. Sincerely Portia.
- A couple days later...Portia and Bassanio will be meeting Antonio to show their new child at the marina...
