Flavius and Marullus are talking about taking down anything that represents the welcoming of Caesar because they are angry that Caesar defeated Pompey and now is taking his spot as leader. This is important because it shows that not everyone likes Caesar.
Cassius was talking to Brutus about how Caesar is not a good fit for leader and Brutus should be the one offered the crown as he is a better fit. This is important because Cassius is manipulating Brutus to turn against Caesar.
Cassius is angry and wants to get rid of Caesar because he is going to be crowned king, this is important because Cassius wants to overthrown Caesar.
