Hey dude what did yall do in science I missed class today
sure man
Wanna FT I'll give you the notes
ok lets start with a nebula, which is a large cloud of dust and gas in interstellar space. Now this part is impotant, nebulae in the Milky consists of about 90% hydrogen and 9% helium. Understand that?
Now the protostar stage. Nebula has contractions that span over millions of years the Temp rises slowly until nebula radiates energy from its surface in long-wavelength red light. Theres a very dense region of molecular clouds where stars are in the process of forming. Ok.
Now the Protostar pulls in matter gets more dense. Then radiation becomes trapped inside, heating the protostar more quickly. After the tepm reaches 10 million K nuclear fusion begins. nuclear fusion is the process that occurs when high temps and pressure causes nuclei to combine, this results in large amounts of energy being released.
Next comes Stellar quilibrium, The pressures inside the star balance out the force of gravity. In other words, The inward force of gravity is balanced by the outward pressure from fusion and radiation inside the star. Make sense?
Ok for the notes we also needed to draw a stellar equilibrium diagram. It needs to show how the gravity pulls inwards and the pressure pushes outwards. Its also gotta show the balence between pressure and gravity.
