At the beginning of the story you could see that margot gets picked on a lot because she is older than them and have seen the sun before. Why is the sun so important to them u may ask, it is important because they are on venus and it continuously rains there. The sun only gets out for 2 hours every 7 years. This is a really big deal to them. She also is lonely because no one wants to be her friend, and she is obsessed with the sun.
At the middle of the story the sun finally comes out but only for 2 hours. What's crazy is that they locked Margot in the closet and she didn't get to see the sun, the other kids don't remember her because the sun just came out and they are extremelyhyper. They were super surprisedand they were having a lot of fun. Then it started again.. RAIN! Children were crying.
At the end of the story they remembered, Margot was still in the closet they had forgottenabout her and and felt bad. But I don't think they will tell her because they don't want her to be really mad. They opened the closet and let her out. The story ended there.
