- While exploring the territory which was known as the Louisiana Purchase, explorers discovered a Native American tribe by the now Missouri river.
- They greet each other and introduce themselves.
- The explorers like the name of their tribe and decide to name the land after them.
- The Missouri tribe and the French explorers eat dinner together to celebrate!
