- I got sent on an expedition with a group of people that i barely knew. We were sent to explore the new world. We needed to claim land and resources before the spanish got to it. We are well prepared for the spanish to invade. We were well equipped with armor and weapons that were specialized to fight the spanish.
- We decided to go up the river a bit so the spanish wouldn't find us as easily. It was a pretty clever idea in our part. So we just went up until we thought the distance was right. We finally stopped after a while in a good spot. It was near water and it was flat. With trees around it.
- The indians attacked us right after we set up everything. We didn't expect them to attack us. We lost many men to the indians. The indians were horrible people they didn't care about anyone. They were all cold blooded humans, but we still needed to make a good relationship with them to survive.
- We finally built a fort to protect us from the natives. We thought that they were the only problem so far, but a couple of months later disease started to spread. Lots of people left and right were dying. They were getting really thirsty and after a while they died. We lost way too many people. More than half were gone once again.
- We became friends with the natives. We needed food and supplies to survive it was a big risk, but it worked out in the end. They would trade us some food for some of our goods. It was starting to look up for us after all of the hard ships. They trusted us and we trusted them we started growing crops after they showed us how to and the cheifs daughter Pocahontas was very kind to us.John Rolfe and John Smith made this possible
- We finally made it after selling tobacco and growing it. Tobacco saved us all. The others traveled to us as soon as they heard the news. We finally had what is now called jamestown. We were finally ut of ll of the hard ships, and we could finally relax. Others started building around us to make the new world.
