- Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen, we are glad to announce that Bengal will be partitioned from today. West Bengal for the Hindus and East Bengal for the Muslims.
- The British were happy about it, but the Indians weren't. They started the Swadeshi Movement to revolt against the partition.
