- it's crazy how much thought goes into proper waste disposal once you look into it. it's basically the whole system of collecting, processing, and discarding garbage, recycling, and hazardous materials in a controlled way rather than just dumping it anywhere
- Exacly, and managing it correctly is massive for helping the Earth. When we properly sort and dispose of waste, we keep dangerous chemicals from leaking into our soil and oceans, reduce landfill greenhouse gases, and save energy by recycling materials instead of constantly harvesting raw ones.

- it really does help the earth when you break it down like that. By cutting back on what we throw away, we stop trash from piling up in landfills and oceans plus it drastically cuts down the energy and the raw materials factories need to make brand new products from scratch.
- i've been trying harder to stick to recude, reuse, and recyce. it's basically a three-step guide to cutting down on waste: you first buy less plastic packaging to reduce what you use, find new ways to reuse old containers, and properly sort the rest so it can be recycled into something new.
