This encounter marks the beginning of Khloe's mysterious disappearance. The next day, she is inexplicably gone, leaving behind no clues except the preserved rose at her father's grave. Her fate remains a haunting mystery, with local legends suggesting that the shadow might still be tied to her father's resting place—waiting for another visitor.
The story explores themes of grief, the supernatural, and the unknown. It carries an eerie vibe, where Khloe's vulnerability in mourning her father intertwines with her encounter with something seemingly unnatural. The ambiguous ending leaves room for speculation, adding to the haunting nature of the narrative.

She felt tears sting her eyes, but she brushed them away. As she poured her emotions out into the stillness, the faint rustle of leaves behind her went unnoticed.

- As Khloe placed the rose on her father's grave and turned to leave, she froze. Her breath hitched in her throat. There it was—the shadow—staring at her with an emptiness that made her skin crawl. It had no face, no eyes, and yet she could feel its gaze piercing into her soul.

Her mother called friends, neighbors, the police—everyone—but no one could explain her disappearance.Legend has it, on certain stormy nights, visitors to the cemetery claim to see a shadow that doesn’t belong. It stands still, always near Khloe’s father’s grave, waiting for something—or someone.
