- 1st Amendment
- You can do that!
- 2nd Amendment
- The Bill of Rights was a series of amendments to the US Constitution. The Amendments were added to directly protect the rights of the individual.
- 3rd Amendment
- You can not be quartered in my house.
- The 1st Amendment is the freedom of speech, press, and religion. You can also legally, peacefully assemble and petition the government.
- 4th Amendment
- You can not search my house without a warrent.
- We want to go in your house and take your stuff!
- The 2nd Amendment protects your right to own guns. This allows citizens to protect themselves and their property.
- 5th Amendment
- I plead the Fifth!
- The 3rd Amendment protects your rights to not have to let soldiers live in your house during peacetime without your consent.
- Similar to the 3rd Amendment, the 4th Amendment protects your house from unreasonable searches and seizures.
- The 5th Amendment protects your right to not have to hold witness against yourself. Also, you can also not go to court twice for the same crime.
