Allegory of the Cave

I need to find something, I don't feel good!!
This town starts to have feelings that are similar to being thirsty, but no one knows whats going on.
The boy decides he is going to search for a cure.
There must be something!
He finds a substance that he calls "water" and figures out that this cures his problem.
Oh my goodness! This must be it!
I have to go tell everyone!
The boy runs back to his town to tell everyone that he found the cure.
Everyone in town seems to think the boy is out of his mind.
I found it! Everyone can feel good again!
You're dumb.
Huh.
The boy discovers water and wants to tell everyone about his life changing finding, but no one seems to care at all.
You're insane.
Why does nobody believe me!?!?
