- Duncan's friends are Wayne and Vinny Wayne works in the dairy barn and Vinny was born with three fingers
- Duncan asks Vinny for help. Vinny shows Duncan a map that shows the animal killings and fires that happened in the past 10 years. This is Roach's comfort zone
- Duncan pretends that he is looking for a job and asks the employee about the discount. He finds out that the employees at the mall get a 10%discount while at the nut factory hardware store the employees get a 25% discount. Duncan concludes that Roach works in the mall
