Religion is important too. When I find time, usually sometime early before work, I go to church. The church is called the Roman Catholic Church and I am a proud believer of Christ. It is important to pray to God so your soul may find heaven. I like going to church. Everyone is kind and it truly feels like my soul is connecting with heaven.

Church is a good break from the usual routine. The routine where everyone owed someone something. The knights protect the entire population and get food and shelter from the nobles in return. The nobles stay loyal to the king and get gifts of land from him. The king gives nobles and Generals land and the peasants pay taxes. We also do the hard labor and we get nothing. I wish the system was fairer to everyone.

I wish nobles were as nice as knights. While peasants work all day and the knights protect them, they enjoy fancy food and clothes. I wish I was a noble. Or better yet, a royal. The king has total control and lives in the palace with all his riches.
After a long day working out in the fields, I’m happy to be home again. Finally, I can see my family and relax in my small house. The work was hard today, but spending time with my husband and my kids makes it all worth it.
