When the Hurly-Burlys done, when the battles lost and won.
Upon the heath. There to meet Macbeth.
Macbeth and Banquo are approached by three evil faces as they return from harsh battles.
What are you?!
Prophesies for Macbeth? Why do you not speak to me? Tell me mine!
Not as great as Macbeth but greater! Not as happy as Macbeth but happier! You will birth kings though you wont be one so All Hail Macbeth and Banquo!
All Hail Thane of Cowdor! All hail Macbeth! you will be king hereafter.
This caused Macbeth to have the thought of being 'king' in his head which caused nasty thoughts as to how to gain that title.
Don't you want to be king? The prophecy has come true once, it will become true once again.
