- This chapter is about when Bud sneeks out and goes into the house wanting to shoot the Amoses but then he reconciders and he just decides to make toddy wet the bed then he goes to sleep at the library.
- This chapter is about when Bud is on the lamb and he needs a place to sleep so he tries to go inside the library and it was locked so he sleeps outside the library and it is also about when bud starts looking at his mothers photos.
- This chapter is about when Bud wakes up and begins to get hungry so he goes to a mission to get food but the lines over then a family claims him as their son to help him get a spot in line.
