- Alice and her sister were sitting by the bank. When suddenly Alice saw a white rabbit run by that pulled out a watch and said he was was going to be late to something.
- Alice is falling though a rabbit hole following the rabbit that jumped down in a hurry.
- Alice lands in a hallway after a long fall down a rabbit hole. Then she finds a bottle that says "Drink Me".
- Drink Me
- The author wrote ,"Weather the pleasure of making a daisy-chain would be worth the trouble getting up and picking the daisies,when suddenly a White Rabbit with pink eyes ran close to her". In the text it also said, "There was nothing so very remarkable in that;nor did Alice think so very much out of the way to hear the Rabbit say to itself ,'Oh dear! Oh dear!'" I shall be late".
- The author writes, "She ran across the field after it, and fortunately was just in time to see it pop down a large rabbit-hole under the hedge". The author also states, "So suddenly Alice had not a moment to think about stopping herself before she found herself falling down a very deep well".
- The author writes in the text,"When suddenly ,thump! thump! down she came upon a heap of sticks and dry leaves, and the fall was over". The author also states, "So she went back to the table half hoping she might find another key on it,or at any rate a book of rules for shutting people up like a telescope:this time she found a bottle on it,the words DRINK ME beautifully printed on it with large numbers".
