Opis Storyboarda
Demander aux élèves de choisir une citation ou une scène préférée du livre permet aux élèves d'établir une connexion texte-à-soi qui démontre leur compréhension des personnages et de leur développement ou des thèmes du roman. Les élèves peuvent ensuite partager leurs storyboards et avoir une courte discussion sur ce que les citations signifient pour eux.

- Katie suggests to her father that they take a trip to the ocean. It is a place Lynn had always wanted to visit. She was always fascinated by the sea and loved to learn about it and teach Katie. She told Katie that the sea sparkled like "Kira-Kira". Here the family finds comfort and peace seeing all the beauty, wonder, and magic in the world through Lynn's eyes.
